Voronezh State University is a research-led institution and its research activities are organized within a network of 18 faculties, 6 research institutes, 16 research laboratories administered by the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Campus
VSU plays a unique role in practically every sphere of Voronezh life. With its museums, libraries, the Galichya Gora reserve, well-equipped laboratories and lecture halls, VSU is like a city within a city. Any research or social project can be carried out there, all kinds of innovations implemented, and any idea becomes possible.

The city itself is situated on the banks of the reservoir and the river Don. Since the beginning of the new Millennium, the city was actively built up. In particular, there was founded the modern Malls and business centers. In recent years, transport system of the city was restored and modernized. Now there are a lot of new cinemas, restaurants and cafes and other entertainment venues that can organize your leisure time, adults and children. Modern Voronezh is a city of students, as there are 36 universities.
Among the most famous of them is the State University and medical Academy. Burdenko. In them, except for residents of the Russian Federation, there are about 1.5 thousand foreign students, most of whom are citizens of foreign countries. The city of Voronezh is actively improving. In particular, in most of the yards and parks with playgrounds, there are beautiful flower beds and even in the most remote districts organized an evening light, which for many years was considered an insoluble problem.
